Preciosa MAXIMA chatons, are Preciosa's high end line of round stones for jewelry design and manufacturing. Never before have crystal stones been so close in brilliance and beauty to true diamonds. These pointed back round stones are made with Preciosa's patented Hi-Pure Crystal technology with an original patented 15-facet cut which is foiled with their innovative Dura-Foiling layer (except for select opaque colors), making it even more resistant to chemicals and environmental conditions.

The MAXIMA line of chatons is deemed to be Preciosa's highest quality due to some some unique features:

2x better light distribution, when compared to a standard 8-facet chaton
2x more frequent scintillation with intense fire effects, when compared to a standard 8-facet chaton
Significantly greater brightness, when compared to a standard 8-facet chaton
Elimination of unwanted dark areas, when compared to a standard 8-facet chaton
Visible differentiation due to an exclusive-looking 15-facet cut
Innovative Dura-Foiling (except for select opaque colors) which offers a higher resistance to corrosion, sweat, chlorine, salt water and more.
Majority of the colors are also cadmium and chrome free with the following exceptions: Sun, Hyacinth, Coral, Lt Siam, Siam and Garnet.

More detailed information about the Preciosa MAXIMA Chaton can be found in their MAXIMA Chaton Brochure.
Please refer to the Preciosa Application Guide for Gluing for additional information.

Preciosa MAXIMA chatons are made exclusively in the Czech Republic and are considered lead free (<.009%). They are made to the highest environmental and sustainable manufacturing practices. They are also CPSIA Compliant.
