Designed to be used with thicker fabrics, long prong tiffany settings are to be used with a standard round flatback rhinestones. They can be used with the corresponding size of any of the leading crystal rhinestone brands. When using a tiffany setting, the stone sits in the flat part of the setting and the prongs are folded on the edges of the stone. Therefore, the prongs are shown while the base is hidden on the other side of the fabric. These settings have longer prongs and are designed to be used with thicker fabrics such as denim, leather and suede.
