The 2080/4 Hot Fix Swarovski Cabochon Flatback Rhinestone features a low smooth, cabochon dome with the coloration of a pearl. The Swarovski 2080/4 allows for a pearl like cabochon to be used in a design that requires a flat back. The 2080/4 Hot Fix Cabochon differs from the 2081/2 Hot Fix Pearl Cabochon in that the 2080/4 cabochon rhinestone is domed, but much lower whereas the 2081/2 is a higher, rounder cabochon giving the look of an actual round pearl.

The 2080/4 Hot Fix Swarovski Cabochon Flatback Rhinestones are used primarily for fabric application because of the precoated heat activated glue on the back of the stone. This type of Swarovski Flatback rhinestone is particularly popular in industries such as fashion apparel, dance, equestrian show clothes, broadway show costumes among others industries using fabric. These stones can also be used to create a rhinestone transfer to create a larger predesigned motif. Application for these stones can most easily be done using an iron or a hot fix machine.
