Americans are having a patriotic moment. Between the 2016 Presidential election, the united fight against terrorism and the anticipated 2016 Summer Olympics, patriotism is appearing in very fashionable places.
For his Spring ’16 collection, Marc Jacobs featured American flags throughout his collection in the form of apparel and flap handbags. And who are we to argue with Marc Jacobs?
Online retailers are getting on board too and realizing this trend means business. Kohls.com and Macys.com both have whole sections of their website devoted to Patriotic jewelry. Famed retailer Brighton Collectibles came out with a line of jewelry and jewelry components around the red, white and blue.
