The #5048 Oval Cabochons are made of smooth (not faceted) glass. These stones have some weight and they have been smoothed and polished to a shine. They have a flat back making gluing or setting easy.

It is the perfect fit for designers looking for glass cabochons to glue on to fabrics, leather, wood or other materials. The #5048 is particularly popular for use with jewelry, either in a mold or set into a setting. The German and Czech manufacturing of these cabochons is of much higher quality than their Chinese or Korean plastic counterparts.
