Swarovski recently released their new colors for Spring/Summer 2018!  All we can say is O-M-G!  Get ready to be WOWed!  Crystal Azure Blue, Crystal Light Coral, Crystal Mint Green, Crystal Peony Pink, Crystal Summer Blue, the new Crystal Shimmer, and a Light Blue Iridescent Pearl and Dark Blue Iridescent Pearl will all...blow you away!

The Cornelian Star is a new type of Czech seed bead that has been released by Preciosa Ornela to rave reviews!  This seed bead features an opaque white starburst emanating from the center hole of the bead.

On August 30^th, Swarovski released their Innovations for Fall/Winter 2017-2018. With this new launch Swarovski introduced an unprecedented 8 new colors/effects!!!!! And Swarovski was very unique and innovative in the development of their new colors.

The Dancesport industry spoke and Swarovski listened! Introducing, the new Shimmer Coating from Swarovski! On August 16, 2016, Swarovski crystal unveiled its newest coating – the Shimmer Effect, a color extension for the Dancesport best-selling 2088 Xirius Flatback Rhinestones. The new effect is available in 15 new colors and in 5 popular sizes: SS12, SS16, SS20, SS30, and SS40.

On February 2^nd, Swarovski debuted their Spring/Summer 2017 Innovations. In addition to the new colors and handful of new shapes to support the nature-themed collection, some of Swarovski’s new shapes in pendants, round stones, fancy stones and flatback stones were all designed in collaboration with Celine Cousteau for this season’s Designer Series.

HarMan Importing began in 1948 by Julius Mandel (the grandfather of current CEO Alisa Mandel Nogen). Like many of his contemporaries, he left Germany in the 1930s because of the war, and settled in New York with his wife Susie and son Jack. In 1948 he traveled to Germany for personal business – prior to leaving, a friend, who was a clothing manufacturer, asked him to bring back some rhinestones. His reply was, “What’s a rhinestone?”

Neither snow nor freezing rain (not to mention really bad traffic!), could keep members of the Har-Man Team from attending Swarovski’s most recent launch party. Held in the Garment District of New York City, the event’s purpose was two-fold: Celebrate Swarovski’s 120^th anniversary, and formally introduce the new styles and colors from the Spring/Summer 2016 Launch.
