Understanding Hot Fix Transfers:
Hot fix rhinestones used in rhinestone transfers have a coating of hot-melt glue on the back of the stone. The glue is activated by heat to bond the crystal with the fabric. The glue hardens as it cools and the elements are securely and permanently fixed.
Tools for Rhinestone Transfer Application: We strongly recommend the use of a heat press machine when applying transfers because it give you maximum control over the time, temperature and pressure needed to apply your transfer properly. An iron can also be used, but in our experience, you will get better results with a heat press machine.

Swarovski Transfers Will Not Fall Off & Are Machine Washable: IF the stones are applied correctly (according to the "Hot Fix Application Instructions: Time, Temperature & Pressure for Rhinestone Transfers" - see link below), the stones will NOT fall off a during normal wear and ARE machine washable. *Important: Even when following these specifications, testing should be done on all fabrics.

What Can I Apply Swarovski Rhinestone Transfer To? The Hot Fix glue was specially developed for use with textiles, but experience shows that hot fix applications can also be carried out on other unusual materials such as wood, paper, metal or glass. In such cases, it is very important to carry out application test beforehand.
Can Rhinestone Transfers be Applied to Leather? Swarovski does not recommend the hot fix application of rhinestone transfers on leather. If you decide to apply your transfers on leather, make sure you test the products thoroughly.
How Long Does it Take For the Rhinestones to Be Secure After They Have Been Applied? According to Swarovski, their hot fix glue is not completely bonded until it has fully hardened (generally after 24 hours). During this period, hand the fabric with care and do not wash or carry out any tests.

An artwork fee of $25.00 will be charged. This will be refunded to you when you place your production order (must be the minimum quantity determined by Swarovski®).
